Steven Bukvic

With a career spanning more than 35 years in the pharmaceutical and contract research organization (CRO) sectors, Steven Bukvic is a seasoned clinical research professional with extensive international experience across the UK, Europe, the United States, Singapore, China, and the Russian Federation. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership and strategic roles, driving operational excellence and delivering high-quality clinical research services across global markets.

Beginning his career in clinical research and progressively advancing into executive leadership positions, Steven has developed broad expertise across Clinical Trial Operations, Pharmacovigilance (PV), Quality Assurance (QA), training, business development, and consultancy. He has served in key roles including Chief Strategy Officer at Synergy CRO and Chairman of the Executive Committee at ACROSS Global™, where he led organizational strategy, business growth, and cross-functional team performance across regions.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Steven is the Founder of the Pan-Asian Clinical Research Association (PACRA), playing a pivotal role in advancing clinical research training and collaboration across Asia. Recognized for his strong leadership, people development, and commitment to quality and compliance, Steven has overseen numerous international clinical trials and contributed to the advancement of operational standards and best practices in the industry.
