Nick Kisengese

With over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, public health, and contract research organization (CRO) sectors, Nick Kisengese is a seasoned clinical research professional with extensive expertise in clinical trial management and project leadership across Africa. His experience spans Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda, with a strong focus on delivering complex, multi-country clinical studies in diverse therapeutic areas.

Throughout his career, Nick has held key roles across global organizations, including leadership positions in CROs and the pharmaceutical industry, where he managed and monitored over 50 clinical trials. His expertise includes clinical operations, site management, project management, and regulatory compliance, with hands-on experience across Phase I–IV studies and collaborations with international stakeholders such as the World Health Organization and leading research institutions.

Currently serving as Regional Head for Africa, Nick is recognized for his strong leadership, operational excellence, and ability to drive high-quality clinical research across the region. He holds a PhD in Healthcare and Clinical Research Administration, further strengthening his strategic and academic foundation in clinical research.
